Lovers of all things country should head up to the National Motor Museum on Sunday 25
November 2007 for the Birdwood Music and Ute Festival. It will be a whole lot of country
right on Adelaide’s doorstep with plenty of hot cars including the new Holden VE Ute,
stacks of kids activities, country food and drinks, merchandise stalls and fantastic vehicle
prizes.
The whole family will enjoy the atmosphere with great country bands and artists. This
years line-up of entertainment includes some of the most exciting new acts on the
Australian country music scene including:
Jetty Road (Melb)
Talia Wittman & Overdrive
Danny Hooper
Key Country
The Distance (Vic)
Alison Hams
Mark Tempany
The Beggars
The iconic Australian Ute will also be on show in all its glorious forms with judging taking
place in the categories of: Best 4x4, Best Truck, Best Trade/Work Ute, Best Rural/Country
Ute, Best Street Ute, Best Feral Ute, Best Holden Ute, Best Ford Ute, and Best Chicks Ute. It’s
not too late to enter with entry forms available from the website.
Visitors are invited to make a weekend of it with camp sites available at the Birdwood
Community Park with free entertainment on the Saturday night. Bookings required.

Vehicle Entry Cost $15 pre entered – includes entry in 2 categories ($5 for each
additional category), $20 if entered on the day.
General Admission (on the day) $20 adult, $15 concession, and under 15s FREE
Event prices also include entry into the National Motor Museum.
