Brazilian jet with 155 people disappears over Amazon jungle

Brazilian plane missing in Amazon SAO PAULO, Sept. 30 /(eTN)-- GOL informs that Flight 1907, that departed from the Manaus airport this Friday at 3:35 p.m. Brasilia time, and had a scheduled arrival time at the Brasilia airport of 6:12 p.m. Brasilia time, does not at this moment have its landing confirmed. The last contact with the aircraft occurred at 5:00 p.m. Brasilia time. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, was received new from the manufacturer on September 12 and it had only 200 flight hours on it. The flight departed from Manaus with 155 people: 149 passengers and 6 flight crew.
